Terms Of Use
Package
All dance packages purchased from our studio will come with a 4-month expiration period.
1. Ensuring Optimal Learning Experience:
One of the primary reasons for setting an expiration date on dance lesson packages is to ensure an optimal learning experience for our clients. Dance is a skill that requires consistent practice and commitment. By utilizing an expiration date, we can encourage clients to attend lessons within a reasonable timeframe, ensuring continuity and progression in their learning journey. Regular practice is key to developing proficiency and honing dance techniques, and the expiration date helps facilitate this process.

2. Class Availability and Scheduling:
In order to accommodate all our clients and manage class sizes effectively, an expiration date is essential. Dance classes often have limited capacity due to the need for personal attention and a conducive learning environment. By setting an expiration date, we encourage clients to secure their preferred class slots in advance. This not only ensures fairness in class allocation but also allows us to organize our instructors, facilities, and logistics efficiently.

In addition, class availability is closely tied to attendance. Group classes are typically scheduled during the most popular times of the day, which also happen to be peak hours for private lessons. Since both formats share the same instructors and studio space, it is important for group classes to maintain consistent participation. When clients use their lesson packages within a reasonable timeframe, attendance remains strong enough to justify keeping group classes on the schedule. This balance ensures that group lessons remain a valuable and reasonable offering for the studio, without limiting the availability of private lessons for other clients.

3. Encouraging Commitment and Progress:
A dance journey is a commitment, and progress is achieved through dedication and regular practice. The expiration date serves as a powerful motivator for clients to stay engaged, attend classes consistently, and make tangible progress in their dancing skills. It reinforces their commitment to their goals and encourages them to seize the opportunity to learn and improve. By embracing the expiration date, clients can truly experience the transformative power of dance.
The expiration date on dance lesson packages is not arbitrary; it is a carefully considered practice that benefits both our clients and our dance studio. It ensures an optimal learning experience, promotes fair class availability, streamlines program efficiency, and fosters commitment and progress among our valued clients. We believe that by understanding the reasoning behind expiration dates, our clients can fully appreciate the value it adds to their dance journey.
Why we have a 24-Hour cancellation policy?
At Image Ballroom Dance Academy, we value both our clients’ time and our instructors’ time. Because of the high demand for evening and weekend lessons, most of our instructors are booked one to two weeks in advance.
When a lesson is canceled at the last minute, it does not give us enough time to offer that spot to another student. This means:

1. Lost Opportunity for Other Students – Many students are waiting for prime lesson times. A late cancellation prevents them from taking advantage of that availability.

2. Lost Income for Instructors – Our teachers rely on these scheduled lessons for their livelihood. A last-minute cancellation leaves them without the opportunity to teach or earn during that reserved time.

3. Efficient Scheduling – Maintaining a clear cancellation policy ensures fairness, better planning, and a smoother experience for everyone in our dance community.

For this reason, lessons canceled within 24 hours of the appointment are considered used. We truly appreciate your understanding, as this policy allows us to keep operations fair, consistent, and respectful of both clients and instructors.
Non-Transferability of Private Dance Lessons
Private Dance Lessons and Group Dance Class Credits Are Non-Transferable. Our scheduling and booking system is specifically designed to manage the allocation of resources, including instructor time and studio space, based on the original student’s needs and progress. Transferring lessons to another person introduces logistical challenges, as the system is not set up to easily accommodate changes in participants. This could disrupt the scheduling process and the instructor’s preparation for lessons.
We implement this policy to ensure smooth operations and maintain the quality and consistency of our services.
