GROUP dance CLASSES
At IMAGE BALLROOM DANCE ACADEMY, our instructors conduct several 60-minute group classes throughout the week, varying in dance styles. The dance styles interchange every few months throughout the year to give students the opportunity to repeat certain dance patterns and skills. Each class is progressive, where new information is added each week throughout the month. There are numerous classes varying in difficulty, and once the instructors see improvement in the student's skills in Level 1( Beginner), they will invite such individual to a more challenging level. In our classes, we will encourage and practice frequent partner rotation to allow the students to experience different types of lead and follow, therefore
NO PARTNER IS NEEDED to attend group classes.
Group classes are an effective and inexpensive way of getting more practice time on the dance floor, while developing the essential skills of partner dancing such as leading and following. Such classes also encourage comradery among dance lovers, who participate in various dance trips and vacations together throughout the year.

​Please refer to the schedule page for the current classes conducted by our instructors. To receive the best experience possible, we recommend new students to start in Week 1 or Week 2 of the class series due the progressive nature of the courses.

In Ballroom Dancing like in everything else we often use the phrase “repetition is key”. Here is the thing, if you ever want to be good at anything you have to work on your skills. Talent is important and we believe that some people may have natural gifts that give them a head start but still, the persistent ones end up becoming great dancers.
